The Sharp Shotz Campaign Competition challenges 11 to 19 year old students living in Bristol and North Somerset to research and develop an idea for a campaign focused on bringing positive change to an issue effecting young people today. At the core of the campaign will be a short film that combines animation and documentary footage.

A group of our students have entered the competition and have been able to work with the BBC and the University of the West of England, learning about issues that affect them in a proactive way, developing their creativity, skills and confidence and be part of changing the world around them in a positive way.

Here are some pics from their trip to the BBC, where students got the chance to meet and work with journalists, sit in the newsreaders’ chairs and practice presenting the news and weather via the green screen.
